Description
The story of Blu Navy transpired from a pressing need, and this specific requirement was expressed to embark on a business venture that became the symbolof the territory. Established in 2010 with the inauguration of the first transport link connecting Piombino and Portoferraio, Blu Navy is a ferry company transporting goods and passengers. This young, vibrant company quickly developed a quality service and high levels of customer satisfaction, while maintaining the enthusiasm and spirit typical of startups. This drive knew how to involve the territory, and enabled strong connections to be forged through partnerships with associations and private investors, and collaborations with maritime experts who know the sea and its characteristics very well. With the same motivation and professionalism that characterised the early years, in 2016 Blu Navy inaugurated the Santa Teresa di Gallura and Bonifacio route, creating the company’s second line with the revamped ship Ichnusa.
